Abstract

The Noyori transfer hydrogenation of alpha,beta-epoxy and alpha,beta-aziridinyl ynones leads to the corresponding alpha,beta-epoxy or alpha,beta-aziridinyl propargylic alcohols with high reagent-controlled diastereoselectivity.
