Abstract
The majority of medical procedures need cooperation and coordination of several services and actors. It is the case for the organ transplantation procedure, considered as one of the most complex and challenging medical procedures. This paper presents a distributed architecture approach supported by agents and workflow metaphor. In order to organize the orchestra of organ transplantation services and actors, the distributed architecture can be adapted easily to structural changing and extended to other medical procedures.
