About

Physicists, chemists, biologists and doctors have come together to provide complementary expertise in different disciplinary fields in health.

Thus, deep expertise is offered on clinical research protocols thanks to our staff members of the University Hospital. This expertise allows us to develop numerous projects linked to the fields of health, applied to cardiology, physiological mechanisms and biomarkers, surgery, and tissue engineering.

From a fundamental point of view, our researchers aim to develop new theranostic means, coupled with artificial intelligence, using nanotechnologies. These techniques, which operate on scales of the order of a billionth of a meter, make it possible to intervene at the level of the cells themselves, a promising prospect for the treatment of certain rare diseases.

These diverse expertises in “nano”, “micro” and “macro” dimensions potentiate the development of new translational projects within the future UR, from proof of concept in the laboratory, to clinical trials, but also opportunities for developing innovative devices, up to patent then industrial transfer, and finally for the benefit of patients.
