Team 1 - About

“Integrated and Personalized Care” team brings together researchers/teacher-researchers/hospital practitioners. It develops work carried out in the field of chronic pathologies and prevention.

The objective is to provide an individualized response to the specific needs of the beneficiary by promoting a coordinated approach of the different protagonists (patient, family, health and paramedical professionals, support networks, etc.) and longitudinal from clinical diagnosis to treatment.

Fundamental or clinical, multi- and interdisciplinary studies particularly with specialists in massive data processing (artificial intelligence) and engineering, make it possible to study the mechanisms in normal or pathological situations. The identification of biomarkers (physiological, biological, cellular or behavioral) also aims to predict the onset or progression of the disease, as does the evaluation of new therapies, whether medicinal or not.

Typical examples of projects are those focusing on cardiovascular pathologies (coronary heart disease, heart failure, venous thromboembolism) and the primary and tertiary prevention of these pathologies through physical activity used as a therapeutic tool to correct heart deficiencies. cardiovascular system affected directly or indirectly (cancer, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis for example), by proposing and evaluating innovative rehabilitation procedures through physical exercise.
